Restoring balance between development and nature

We bring degraded landscapes back to life through evidence-based ecological restoration and native habitat creation across Australian ecosystems.

Native Australian bushland restoration
Wetland ecosystem

Ecosystems don't need saving. They need the right conditions to recover.

Over the past twelve years, we've worked with landholders, councils, and developers to repair what modern land use has disrupted. From coastal wetlands to inland woodlands, our approach is simple: understand the system, remove the barriers, and let nature do what it does best.

Every site is different. We don't believe in templates or one-size solutions. Our work starts with soil, water, and what used to grow there naturally.

How we work with the land

Site assessment

We map existing vegetation, test soil health, analyze water flow patterns, and identify what native species once thrived on your land.

Customized restoration plan

Based on historical ecology and current conditions, we design a phased restoration strategy that works with your budget and timeline.

Implementation and monitoring

Our team handles everything from weed removal and soil preparation to planting and ongoing maintenance. We track progress through seasonal monitoring.

Recent Project

174 hectares of coastal woodland brought back from pasture

A former cattle property on the NSW South Coast had lost nearly all native vegetation after decades of overgrazing. The landowner wanted to retire the land and return it to conservation.

We removed invasive kikuyu grass, repaired gully erosion, and planted 23,000 native seedlings matched to the original coastal forest community. Within three years, native birds returned, wallabies were regularly spotted, and a threatened orchid species reappeared.

The property now holds a conservation covenant and generates biodiversity credits.

What landholders say

"After the bushfires, we didn't know where to start. Neat Stakes assessed the damage, removed all the invasive weeds that sprang up, and replanted with fire-adapted natives. Two years later, the bush is recovering beautifully."

— Margaret, property owner, Blue Mountains

"Their biodiversity report was thorough and clearly written. The council approved our development application without any pushback on the environmental section."

— James, land developer, Greater Sydney

"We needed a wetland restoration plan for our farm. They found threatened frog species we didn't know we had and designed a management plan that actually increased our property value."

— Sarah & Tom, agricultural landholders, Southern Highlands

Restored native habitat

Where we work

We operate across New South Wales, Victoria, and the ACT. Our projects span coastal heathlands, temperate woodlands, alpine wetlands, and urban bushland reserves.

Each region has unique ecological communities. We've spent years building relationships with local native nurseries, understanding seasonal patterns, and learning which species thrive where.

Travel costs are included in our quotes for work within 200km of Sydney. For remote sites, we can arrange accommodation and provide multi-day site visits to maximize efficiency.
